Fast Forward…

The outpost has taken on a whole new look and grown to be great escape. Three 10’ x 12’ canvas wall tents are in, each with wood burning stoves for the colder seasons and “The Barn” has become a great hall to commune, complete with large wood-burning stone, dining table, darts, billiards, kitchen and more. The land is now roughly 4 acres stretching toward the McCloud River and is flanked by Squaw Valley Creek.

We continue to frequent the camp and improve on ammenities and features while keeping the ruggedness and feel of a good camp built for anglers, by anglers.

We have been hosting Advanced Angler Clinics at the outpost to allow anglers access to professional tips, tricks, riggings and approaches to Norther California trout water - beyond your run-of-the-mill guide trip. These Advanced Angler Clinics are built for those wanting to take their adventures to the next level, to understand the river, the bugs and the fish better and to become the best stewards of the river.
